Let me take you back to a time when weddings were something two people did, in secret.
When perhaps, for no other reason at all than wanting to spend the rest of their lives together, a man and a woman decide one beautiful spring day, to get dressed, find a minister and recite words they felt were meant for only them.
Let me take you to a place so peaceful and beautiful, that you thought it was made just for you. The air is sweet with the scent of cherry blossoms, and birds swayed along with the gentle breeze that would bring petals of pink floating down upon the ground, paving the way to a new chapter – a chapter begun by just the two of you.
Let me take you to the intimate after party, a table for two at a quiet little cafe, run by a sweet old Mexican man who regaled you with tales, and had somehow played a part in bringing you together on a similar spring day, many years ago.
You celebrate over a slice of cake and coffee, you write your names and sealed it with a kiss, before taking in the day, your day, spent in the loving arms of this beloved city.
Where you fell in love.
