A Parsons Garden Wedding: Kierstin and James

A Parsons Garden wedding: Kierstin and James – when you marry an Englishman, it makes total sense to have your wedding in a garden!

Kierstin and James’ meeting is perhaps one of the most romantic I’ve heard in a while.

While backpacking in New Zealand, Kierstin meets James, an Englishman also traveling on his own. It wasn’t love at first sight. In fact, Kierstin recalls James being quite “annoying” and James thought Kierstin was quiet and somewhat “aloof”. However, they were pushed together time after time during their trip and eventually, fell in love.  So much so that Kierstin packed up her bags here in Seattle and moved to Aberdeenshire, Scotland to be with James. A year later, they were engaged.

This whirlwind romance culminated this summer back here in the Pacific Northwest at Queen Anne’s Parsons Gardens, with Kierstin and James’ elegant English wedding.
