When I met Janina and Justin at the fabulous Louisa’s cafe for our consult last October, I knew this would be a really fun, romantic and unique experience. The beautiful Janina, freshly out of work because she’d fired her boss, was strong, opinionated and hilarious (pretty sure I came off as an easily amused git). The handsome Justin, eyes sparkling with excitement almost the whole time we were chatting, eagerly told the story of their meeting, which is nothing short of a movie like Love, Actually.
This happy couple had met at the London airport at the ticketing line. “I wondered who this cute guy was and hoped we’d sit together,” remembers Janina. And as fate would have it, Janina and Justin were seated next to each other on the same plane!
They chatted for ten hours and what ensued was a love story that curled the straightest of toes.
Two years later, on the anniversary of them falling in love, Janina and Justin were wed in front of a few friends and their family at Seattle’s Egyptian Theatre, after which they went bowling. BOWLING!
Aren’t these two the funnest people?!
Well this is only half their wedding story. Come summer, I will be photographing the bigger celebration of their reception, uniting two families at the Monte Cristo in Everett. I cannot wait to see what they’ve planned!
