Sara and Joe’s Whidbey Island Wedding at Wayfarer Farms

Sara and Joe’s Whidbey Island Wedding at Wayfarer Farms was truly a Pacific Northwest island getaway that was intimate, romantic and above all, FUN!

Whidbey Island is on my top-ten list of favorite places to get away and on which to get married. The island is chock full of quaint, quiet little beachside towns. Langley, for one, is where I imagine retiring to a life of quiet contemplation, nature photography and just endless weekend beach combing.

The day started in relative regular PNW fashion, overcast with the clingiest hope of sunshine. And then it rained, and five minutes later, the sun came out all boss-like. This is fairly uneven for August but you just never know here, and have to be prepared for everything, weather-wise.

We began our day at the cutest little cottage on the island where Joe and his boys, as well as stepdad (also Joe, if I remember correctly), got ready.

Thank you to my friend-ors for yet another beautiful wedding collaboration!
