This one holds a lot of meaning and nostalgia for me. Early last year, my friend and former colleague from my tech writing days Dhillon, emailed to ask if I’d shoot his Genting Highlands wedding at Puncak Dani in Malaysia. Of course it was a swift yes. I was both honored and humbled to be asked. Dhil and I go way back to when we were both fumbling kids figuring out our way in the world. He was my writer, I was his editor at a little magazine called PC World.
Seems like a lifetime ago, or even two.
Today, Dhillon runs Hack in the Box, an international security conference and I, his wedding photographer.
Thanks so much for inviting me, Nadira and Dhillon, to document this celebration and what’s the beginning of a beautiful new chapter of your lives. Congratulations!
And thank you to my partner in crime and second photographer Thomas of Maxtography! Couldn’t have done this without you, buddy!
Planned by Valerie of Forever Valentine Weddings and styled by YSA Events, with catering and appetizers from Big Rajah and Barat.
Such a great one! Congrats again Nadira and Dhillon and thanks for including me in your celebration!
