A Wedding at the Olympic Sculpture Park: Miya & Tyler

Bride and groom kiss wedding ceremony at Olympic Sculpture Park, a wedding venue in downtown Seattle, WAMiya and Tyler’s special day at the Paccar Pavilion in the Olympic Sculpture Park was a sunny affair filled with love and laughter. While Tyler and his crew chilled at home, Miya, along with her mom, future mother-in-law, sisters, and friends, prepped downtown.

Adding a personal touch to their celebration, Miya, who’s half Japanese, decided to incorporate paper cranes into the decor, a nod to her heritage. What made it even more special was that Miya folded every single crane herself, with the help of her sisters. Together, they poured their love and good wishes into each delicate fold, making the gesture even more meaningful.

Another heartfelt decision they made was to only see each other at the ceremony, heightening the anticipation and excitement for that momentous walk down the aisle.

Against Seattle’s beautiful blue skies, Miya and Tyler exchanged vows surrounded by hues of blue and white, creating a serene atmosphere for their ceremony. As they said “I do,” the paper cranes, a symbol of longevity and good fortune, fluttered above, adding an extra touch of magic to the occasion.

With smiles on their faces and love in their hearts, Miya and Tyler celebrated their union in style at the scenic Sculpture Park, creating memories they’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Thank you to Miya and Tyler’s wonderful vendor team for such a beautiful celebration!
