On a beautiful and sunny September day, Katherine and Graeme celebrated their wedding at Kingston House, just a short ferry ride from Edmonds, WA (or Bainbridge Island)
Katherine studies naturopathy and Graeme environmental science so their green theme was a reflection of their professions and what they care about. The sweet hues of purple and green to the choice of herbs for their dinner decor as well as the custom-made gown by Katherine’s mom’s friend made for a truly unique wedding.
About the venue
Kingston House is a 15-acre, park-like north Kitsap County wedding venue, vacation rental and lavender farm. Located just 5 minutes from the Edmonds-Kingston ferry and 13 miles from Bainbridge Island, Kingston House is a destination venue that’s conveniently close to Seattle and Tacoma. It’s also family-run by the Sohn family, who purchased the Knapp Estate in 2003. Initially marketed as the Retreat at Sycamore Hill, the 15-acre property was recast as “Kingston House” in 2013. You can read more of the history of Kingston House here.
