Meaghan and Patrik planned a wedding in just over a month or two. They’d planned to elope to Hawaii but Meaghan wanted family to be able to celebrate with them. After looking high and low, they finally settled happily on a slice of Europe right here in Seattle. Meaghan and Patrik had the most beautiful Corson Building wedding in Georgetown – easily one of my top favorite venues to photograph. It also has some of the BEST CUISINE in town, not even kidding.
Meaghan and Patrik’s Corson Building wedding was sweet and elegant, filled with the prettiness that only McKenzie Powell can conjure up. The girls all got ready at The Edgewater Hotel while the Blue Angels zipped about on their “rehearsal day” over Elliott Bay.
Patrik’s family, of Puerto Rican descent, were a hoot to celebrate their big day with. Patrik’s grandma was probably my favorite, along with their bulldog which had a mini top hat!
Thanks to the following vendors for making it all happen!
Getting ready venue: The Edgewater Hotel
Ceremony and reception venue: The Corson Building
Wedding gown: The Dress Theory
Hair and makeup: Kat St John
Floral and planning: McKenzie Powell Floral and Event Design
Love the face on Meaghan when she saw the work of art McKenzie Powell presented her!
A gift from Meaghan to Patrik before the ceremony.
“What do you mean go to the bottom of the pile for the good stuff?”
I think Patrik is liking the boudoir pics Meaghan took with me earlier this summer! 😍
“I already know what he got me!”
We’ll just keep that a secret…
Patrik’s grandma is the sweetest!
Is that not the most adorable outfit on a dog you’ve ever seen?!
Everyone got a chance to bless Meaghan and Patrik’s rings before they exchanged them.
What a cute idea for a photo booth in a VW bus!
A little more behind the scenes of McKenzie Powell doing her thang!
Did I mention the food at the Corson Building is just out of this world?
Congratulations Meaghan and Patrik!
