June 26th 2016 was a beautiful day for a Seattle Jewish Wedding at the gorgeous Seattle Tennis Club right on Lake Washington, and I could not have asked for better weather for better people. Joelle and Ryan are the most generous, genuine and warmest salt of the earth people. They give those welcoming hugs you just want to stop and sit a minute in, are always trying to feed you and at the same time, crack the most hilarious, inappropriate jokes that make someone like me, who loves to laugh, fall madly in love.
And it is clear that the people who surround them, LOVES them to bits. I’m one of them.
Some words from the bride and groom
One thing that was amazing about our Seattle Jewish wedding is that we have so much talent in our community of friends and family that we had some unconventional vendors. Our day of coordinator was my dear friend and colleague, Ruth Lett. Our DJ was one of Ryan’s best friends, Angelo Allard. Angelo does DJ weddings but he does it as a side gig, he doesn’t have a website or anything! I will say he was amazing because he knows how to read a room and get everyone on the floor!
We are so glad you were our photographer. You did a great job of balancing between helping us look our best and being invisible so we could relax and not be self conscious around the camera. Our pictures were the most important thing and you captured the mood so beautifully! One of my favorite parts was the golden hour photos. It was a chance to take a breather from the party and reconnect with Ryan. And make out!
We loved every second of our Seattle Jewish wedding because we had a great setting and a great DJ. We both purposefully avoided wedding magazines and wedding websites because they emphasize things that are not important to us (like expensive accoutrements or wasteful and time consuming DIY projects). We pared it down to only the things that were important to both of us. And I would not have changed a thing if I had to do it again!
