I met Tina and Steven at Yena and Matt‘s wedding last year and we’d hit it off right away. A year later, here I was documenting Tina and Steven’s nuptials.
Photographing weddings when you have kids always gives you a little glimpse into what might be in the future of your own children. At Tina and Steven’s, I could not help but hope that my girls will meet partners that are as sweet and overall good kids as these two.

As naturalized immigrants currently acting as custodians to this land, we continue to learn, acknowledge and recognize the history of physical and cultural genocide and settler colonialism, which continues to displace Indigenous people today. We would like to also recognize these lands, waters, and their significance for the resilient and wise peoples who continue to thrive in this region today despite the consequences of displacement and broken treaties.
